Thank You for Your Generosity!
In December, your local The Warehouse was raising funds to support Zoofari. With the support of the surrounding stores in the region, a total of $31,507 was raised thanks to the generosity of the local community. These funds will go towards enabling primary school children from low decile schools the opportunity to visit and participate in educations sessions at the zoo. Thanks to your support the community is becoming a better place.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
