Laura raises thousands in 12-hour charity treadmill challenge
Laura Peacock still had a smile on her face after walking a massive 60km in 12 hours on a treadmill.
On August 5, the personal trainer set a steady 5km/hour pace on the treadmill at TCA Your Gym in Thames, supported by friends, family and community members.
The challenge has so far raised $3500 for the Heart Foundation and she hoped to raise another $1000 for the charity over the next month, she said.
The fundraiser was in memory of her Dad, Lawrence Peacock, who lost his life to heart disease seven years ago at just 51 years of age.
