Great news for rail trailers!
A key piece of the Kaiaua to Kopu section of the Hauraki Rail Trail can now be slotted into place.
The NZ Transport Agency has announced it will fund a `clip-on' cycle lane attached to the downstream side of the Piako Bridge, which spans the Piako River on State Highway 25, providing a safe crossing for trail users and road cyclists.
