Would love to see Council serious about connecting the Kamo walk/cycle lane with Hikurangi - in fact from beside the lake and following the rail line all the way to Kamo - they do not provide a bus service out here and this would enable many out here to safely cycle to town if necessary. It has to happen and could ultimately join with the North but who knows? Should happen sooner rather than later.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
