Changes to speed limits - increases and decreases
Well as Northlanders we all know the state of our roads.
The Government recently announce there would be some roads in NZ where the speed limit would be increased to 110km/h.
This won' t happen in Northland - There are currently no roads that will meet the standard - there are some however where a decrease limit could apply.
Now is your chance to have your voice heard if you want the limit lowered in your neck of the woods.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
