Fluoridation of water supply
Whangarei District Council has taken steps to ensure fluoride can be fully introduced by the Ministry of Health’s 28 March deadline, but can also be paused if the High Court allows.
The High Court will decide tomorrow (Tuesday 18 March) whether Council can delay fluoridation until the outcome of a legal challenge on the safety of fluoridation.
