ANZAC Day services in Whangārei District 2024

The Team from Whangarei District Council

ANZAC Day is on Thursday, 25 April 2024 and we've partnered with local Returned and Services Associations (RSAs) to stage two major events:

🔴 Whangārei Dawn Service - Laurie Hall Park 6:00am
🔴 Waipu - starting on South Road at 10:50am

There will also be community venues holding commemmoration events. Through the RSA, we have confirmed that these locations are also offering services:

Ngunguru Sports Club - 6:15am
Hikurangi, corner of Monument and Tahiwi Road - 8:30am
Maungatapere Community Hall - 9:00am
Kamo Memorial Hall - 10:00am
Pehiaweri Marae, Glenbervie - 10:00am
Maunu Lawn Cemetery - 10:00am
Maungakaramea Sports Club - 11:00am
Whangarei Heads Manaia Club - 2:00pm
Waitangi Treaty Grounds - 5:00pm
