Vintage Motorcycles at Heritage Park, Whangarei on Saturday 20 May 8.30am till 10.00am
Rarely seen, so come along to view 60 vintage and classic motorcycles as riders get ready for the Northland Vintage Car Club's annual motorcycle rally. The oldest motorcycle is a 1918 Triumph Model H, owned and restored by a Whangarei rider.
The bikes will be at NVCC clubrooms at Heritage Park (Kiwi North), 500 S.H. 14, Maunu

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
