We believe: Kāinga Ora’s intensive developments need to consider the impact on infrastructure, urban design, and safety for existing and new coming residents of Kensington and Otangarei; Whangarei’s infrastructure is already under pressure with schools at capacity, Whangarei Hospital functioning with stretched resources, and GPs unable to take more people on; thriving communities should cater to the needs of both newcomers and long-standing residents. What will be done to improve the access to GP and Hospital wait times?
