This was a Neighbours Aoteoroa event for March 2023. It was a really beautiful day for the Teddy Bear's Picnic. Thank you to Reyburn House, Northland Society of Arts, Creative Northland and the WDC Mayor Vince Corocullo for their support for the Teddy Bear's Picnic. Thank you to Moana Henare and her large Teddy Bear. Thank you to all the volunteers for setting up and cleaning up. Thank you to the parents and caregiver who brought their children and their teddy bears for a picnic.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
