Alimain

Brian from Onerahi

i would like to know why the District Council seem to do things behind ratepayers back without informing them. Alimain Road for the last 30 years has had no markings and right hand rule has always applied. Lately there have been two big Remurewa Tractors coming out of the road , cutting the corner as if the road was there private property. Now that they have employed Roadmarkers to put a white Marking where it now illegally cuts of Alimain into Two and no Giveway or Stop sign on the other half of the road. Wake up Shiral Mai and make your Council more accountable for what they do as You Promised when elected into your first Term.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
