Portland Quarry Blast Today 1PM
Did anyone hear or feel the huge blast from the Portland limestone quarry at 1pm this afternoon? I was at a friends place on State Highway one Purewa , I thought it was a earthquake as the whole house shook for about 10-15 seconds and thought the windows were going to smash in.. It was a horrific shock. How can this be allowed to happen..?
