The Maunu Garden Project
Kia ora whanau,
The Maunu Garden Project is a not for profit organisation who grows and donates fresh spray-free produce to our local community and community foodbanks in Whangarei.
We are a small group of volunteers, passionate about getting healthy produce out into our community to those who need it the most. Through local foodbanks and other organisations we are able to deliver seasonable produce most weeks of the year, which is incredible!
We need your help! Awapuni Nurseries have kindly offered to do a 2 week promotion, giving us a special code to pass on to you, so when you put through those spring planting orders we will get 20% of the proceeds (less postage). This starts on Monday 9th September and you MUST use the code which we will post on FB Mon morn. Please go along to our Facebook page for more info, or if you would like to read a bit more about what we do or maybe apply to volunteer that would be awesome! COMMUNITY SOLAR PROJECT FUNDING AVAILABLE - 9th May 2024
Join for an informative hui on applying for solar project funding through the Cyclone Gabrielle Appeal Trust.
The funding is available to community groups, hapū, iwi and Marae across Northland, Te Tai Tokerau. With funding applications closing on 29 May 2024, this is a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the application procedure and help your community be more resilient in a natural disaster.
