Volunteer as a Hospital Friend and make a positive contribution to patients
Be there for patients, their whanau and friends. As a "Friend of the Emergency Department (FED)" and "Hospital Friend" you will offer comfort, information, and support to patients within the Emergency Care Centre.
We ask volunteers to commit to one shift a week or fortnightly, to cover a roster of three four-hour shifts per day (morning, afternoon and evening), every day of the week (Monday to Sunday) and 52 weeks of the year.
