Teens and tweens come along to Whangฤrei Central Library during the July school holidays and try new challenges, new arts and crafts, share your ideas and let your creativity shine. These holidays we are doing:

Get crafty and gear up to survive different book worlds: mystery/thriller, fantasy, historical/steampunk, dystopian and magic school.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if itโs approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
