đł Every available "sucker truck" is out clearing drains, culverts and gulleys, with priority on high-risk areas
đ Working directly with some residents who have been recently affected by flooding
âą Arranged for 24-hour availability of contractors
đ§ We're pre-emptively closing Kaka Street in Morningside
đ Set up a working space with Civil Defence Northland, ready to open as an emergency operations centre
đ§ Monitoring the forecasts, tide charts and other information so we know what to expect
