Rider thankful no-one hurt after gunshot spooks horse in riverbed
Sue Frogley was walking her horse, Lily, in the Ashley River bed when a shot was fired near them, causing Lily to bolt.
Frogley said she wanted to highlight the issue because many people used the area for a variety of activities.
"During the school holidays I passed a lot of young teenagers on bikes, people walking dogs ... I have friends who ride down there all the time.
"People just shouldn't be shooting guns there."
