Goodwill agreement between school and truckies helps keep students safe
An agreement between a North Canterbury school and a waste transportation company is still going strong after 14 years
The Goodwill Agreement was signed by Woodend School and Transwaste Canterbury in 2005 – making it one of the first school and trucking road safety agreements in New Zealand.
With trucks regularly driving past on their way to the Kate Valley Landfill near Waipara, the agreement is a commitment to work together to address any issues raised by either party.
