Proposed bus route changes upset residents of quiet North Canterbury subdivision
Residents in a North Canterbury subdivision are concerned their property values will drop if a bus route travels through their community.
Owners of properties at Sovereign Palms, Kaiapoi, are critical of proposed changes that send public buses through their subdivision.
Resident Joy Melhopt told the Kaiapoi-Tuahiwi Community Board this wee that the community was concerned buses were not suitable for the area's narrow streets, tight roundabouts, and tranquil environment.
