Karori Tunnel Maintenance
Karori tunnel will be closed overnight between 11pm-5.30am from Wednesday 4 September until Wednesday 11 September for the tunnel’s annual maintenance. The closure will allow us to wash and repaint the tunnel.
Signed diversions will be in place via the Northland tunnel. Buses, some heavy vehicles and pedestrians and cyclists will still able to use the Karori Tunnel.
