The Team from Alexander Turnbull Library

“Designing for Change: Exploring Social, Cultural & Resource Equity in cultural organisations”
Wed, 12 June 2019
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM NZST

Jon Voss, US Director of Shift and founder of History Pin is speaking at the Library tomorrow night.
He’ll be covering:
• building the field of community-based archives
• helping cultural organisations move toward community-engaged problem solving
• bringing strangers together in galleries, libraries, archives and museum spaces, and,
• supporting / challenging museums in their efforts to tell the whole history.

Jon is also very interested to hear how this work may or may not apply to NZ, what unique challenges New Zealand organisations are tackling, and what the US can learn from our initiatives.

Jon is a great speaker and was an National Digital Forum keynote a few years ago.
