School Holidays Arts and Crafts at the National Library

Looking for something to do during the cold, drizzly weather? Our craft tables will be full of fun activities for you and the whānau! Check out our other listings for specific activities during the school holidays.

Venue: National LIbrary Cnr Molesworth and Aitken Streets, Thorndon

During the school holidays, we will have our craft tables out and a bunch of activities available such as colouring in and quizzes. We’ve got a lots of other fun activities planned — check out our other event listings on our website for more information.

Our friends at Home Café will have a school holiday drink and snack deal so you can fill your tank while working on your creations!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
