20sqm of brick-red concrete pavers free for pick-up in Brooklyn
Hi there,
THE PAVERS ARE NOW TAKEN! Thank you!
I have 20 sqm of used, brick-red concrete pavers free for pick-up in Brooklyn. The pavers are 190 x 230 mm and 45 mm high. We removed the pavers and carried them up to the top stair at the gate, but the taker will need to transport them 30 meter along a council walkways to the street (no stairs) so this might be a 2 or 3 person job! The pavers have been set in sand so there is no concrete to scrap off.
They are old but not in bad shape. I have water blasted a few rows, and the colour comes back nicely. We have cleaned any sand or dirt before we stacked them :).
Cheers!

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
