The annual Book Fair you've all been waiting for
Once again, Karori Lions are partnering with Karori Rotary to bring you our joint Book Fair. It wil be held on Friday and Saturday, 10th and 11th September at Karori Baptist Church Hall in Marsden Village.
There will be some great bargains, and anyone who spends $20 or more will be able to enter a draw for some fabulous prizes.
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
