ANZAC 2020, Island Bay : Commemorating from our “bubbles” at 10am this Saturday
Traditionally, the churches of Island Bay hold an ANZAC service at Island Bay School. This year, leaders of the churches of Island Bay have prepared a video service for us: an ANZAC Message, prayer, reading from “For the Fallen”, a bugle call, then a minute’s silence.
At 10am on Saturday 25 April, gather in your bubble – in your driveway, garden or lounge – to pause, reflect and commemorate ANZAC Day. Here's the link: youtu.be...
Here are other ways our ANZACs:
Make a paper or chalk poppy to decorate the front of your house.

Receive a virtual poppy identity by donating via the RSA Givealittle page!
ANZAC Day is a time to pay respect and acknowledge the many thousands of our military people who are serving or have served, who are called upon to support New Zealand in times of war, conflict and disasters. We can’t gather as we might normally, but we can still remember.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
