Wheelie bin clips
We’ve finished delivering over 40,000 wheelie bin clips to all residents who currently have a council-provided wheelie bin. If you have a council recycling wheelie bin, and haven’t received a clip, please let us know by Friday 18 Jan and we can organise for delivery in Jan/Feb 2019. You can call us (04 499 4444) or email info@wcc.govt.nz with your name, address & phone number.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
