✈️We’re Plane Sense, a community group raising concerns about aircraft noise and safety in Wellington’s northern suburbs after the 1 Dec 2022 DMAPS flight path change.

⚠️Serious safety issues have emerged, including documents only discovered through the OIA process and not disclosed to the Court by the respondents.

📅We’re taking our case to the High Court, 17–19 Nov 2025, and there may be a class action compensation claim following.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
