Cheers for essential workers

Lesley from Ngaio

Let's follow Europe's example and show our appreciation for essential workers at the frontline who are keeping the country running in this crazy time - healthcare workers, hospital cleaners, couriers, supermarket staff, and everyone else involved.
I propose a minute-long cheer and applause from your own doorstep or garden on Sunday at 3pm. Tell your neighbours (from 2 metres away) if they may not see this on Facebook. Kia kaha.

Stamps wanted

Marty from Johnsonville

I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
