Mosaic course Sunday 11th and 18th 1 - 5pm

This weekend's 8 hour Mosaic course at Karori Arts and Crafts Centre with Jill Askew still has a few places available. The first session is on Sunday September 11th 1 - 5pm, followed by the second session on Sunday September 18th 1 - 5pm. The course is open to 13 years old plus so why not come as a family.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
