Many dog poops on walkways along Verviers st and Shotter St
We have noticed increasing number of dog poops left on the walkway along verviers st and shotter st, especially at certain spots and corners. This is disgusting and irresponsible.
Many people use the walkways to get to the bus stop and someone could step on them by accident. This also frustrate me as I take my baby for a walk with pram daily. I collect them immediately when I see them but I am getting sick of it now as I have collected at least 3 times at same spot in the past week! It is very obvious that someone does not clean up after the dog intentionally.
From the size of the poop, I think its a medium to large dog. If your car park along the street has a dashcam, there is a chance it might caught this irresponsible dog owner. However, I still hope this was just someone "forgot" to clean it up and it will never happen again.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
