Hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Duties are to make simple snacks such as sandwiches and serve at the bar of the clubhouse. No previous experience is necessary because training will be provided. The job may be suitable to those who have a car to travel to the club, live in the Makara and Karori area and have free time during the days.

Includes 2 key-less keys , airbags, tinted windows, reverse beep & corner sensor, electric windows etc etc. Serviced annually, and tires under 3 years old - drives Average 9km/ltr in town / 14km/ltr long distance if car not completely full.

2 sets of dashboard buttons; English and Japanese. Center screen disconnected - we never cared.

Incredible really that not all station wagons have 7 seats - as fold down is with simply press of button! (pic on complete flat back is avail - but are only allowed 10 pics, and pic with only back seat folded is most common mode)

A sign at Te Awe library, on Brandon St, shows the building is at 16 per cent of new building standard, not because it is quake-prone but because it is yet to get the final council tick-off for strengthening work. The Code of Compliance Certificate (CCC) has been described by the council as being in the final stages since at-least July.
There are roughly 560 buildings, including 283 seen as high priority, around the city, which must be strengthened or demolished to meet new earthquake regulations brought in after the destruction caused by the Kaikōura earthquake.

A major waste water pipe has burst in central Wellington, closing roads and disrupting morning traffic. The pipe burst at the intersection of Victoria Street and Mercer Street yesterday afternoon. People in the central city are being asked to only flush the toilet if it is "essential".
… View moreA major waste water pipe has burst in central Wellington, closing roads and disrupting morning traffic. The pipe burst at the intersection of Victoria Street and Mercer Street yesterday afternoon. People in the central city are being asked to only flush the toilet if it is "essential".
The central Wellington sewerage pipe that broke, closing central city streets, was more than 100 years old.
Sewage flowed out onto the road after a pipe ruptured at the intersection of Victoria and Mercer streets on Monday afternoon.
Wellington Water confirmed the failed pipe was installed around the year 1910.
Repairing it is expected to take two to three days.

A wall in Karori is getting a new lease on life with a mural by a local artist.

Graphic designer and Korean New Zealander Keehwa Hong answered an open call for artists by the Wellington City Council last year.
It is being painted across three sides of an old electricity substation (east, south and west facades) at the entrance to Karori Pool on Donald St.
Hong wants her mural to reflect the pool, the neighbouring school, and the opportunities for recreation in nature that Karori offered.

My ideal home would have a big garden for me to explore and potter around while supervised. I would suit a family that has had dogs before as I am a big boy with a bit of strength. I would love to go for walks with my new family and check out this wonderful country we live in. When I have nothing to do I have shown the ability to escape out of medium to high fencing so I need a plan to be contained during the day that doesn't involve being tied or tethered. Going to work with my new human companion would be great for me. I am not suited to a home with/next to cats and other small animals or livestock. If you are looking for a bigger dog that is pretty laid back then make an appointment to come and meet me."
