Tulip Bulbs for Sale

Love seeing our tulips in bloom at the Wellington Botanic Gardens? Why don't you plant a few of your own and support the Friends of the Botanic Garden. You can purchase packs of 5 bulbs for $5 or 25 for $20, we have a few different varieties to choose from.

Bright colours such as Temple's Favourite, which have huge red blooms flushed with orange or Bolroy Honey with its happy yellow blooms. Or you can try a classic White Dream.


Supplies are limited, so support local and visit us at the Treehouse Visitor Centre Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm (Closed Weekends). We have plenty of beautiful gifts and competitions in store.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
