Roads remaining closed after storm

The team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has issued warnings to drivers travelling along state highways 2 and 58.

Block Rd, which runs beside State Highway 2 at Melling, has been closed due to flooding. Grays Rd, which connects to State Highway 1 in Plimmerton, has also been closed due to flooding. Motorists have been told to take the highway as an alternative route.

Road repairs have slowed traffic down to one lane and traffic management is in place along SH58, near the Spinnaker Dr intersection in Porirua. Motorists should expect minor delays.
