Bupa Development 122 Churchill Drive
Happy New Year all!
I have just read the resource consent for a retirement complex at 122 Churchill Drive (between Countdown and Bowen Hospital). I am interested in talking to others who have any objection to this, as I have grave concerns surround the size of this monstrosity and the impact it will have on my view (and I am sure the view of others). In summary the building will be over 5 meters higher than the existing building and will destroy my view of the beautiful bush in and around Trelissick Park.
I note that the Council has issued a limited notification only, to only a select few, which I would imagine has excluded a number of residents who may also have objections. I would be interested in hearing from those people also. Submissions close on 7 February 2017, so object now or as the saying goes "forever hold your peace".
