Police seeking information following assault in Queenstown

Queenstown Police are seeking information from the public following an assault at the weekend.

Around 9pm on Sunday, 28 October, a 27-year-old man was assaulted on Lochnagar Drive, Lake Hayes Estate near Queenstown.

He was admitted to Lakes District Hospital having received non-life threatening injuries to his chest, before being transferred to Dunedin Hospital.

We do not believe the wider community is at risk but do ask anyone who may have information to contact Police on 03 441 1600 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 anonymously.
