Hi neighbours - from eco-burial options to driving etiquette and plot decorations, a new guide has everything you need to know about Marlborough's cemeteries.

There are prohibitions on plantings, paving, bricks and pebbles being placed on a grave or ashes plot area. Flowers placed in glass jars, bottles and other similar breakable containers are not allowed.

The guidelines also say those buried in a war service area must have "very plain" burial or ash plaques, with no personal messages or photographs.

What are your thoughts on these guidelines? Are the rules too strict?
