Possible marine guardians for Marlborough - Are they needed urgently?
Hi neighbours - a group of Marlborough Girls' College students are working on addressing issues which face Marlborough Sounds' marine environment.
They have raised issues to Jacinda Ardern, which include dredging, overfishing, sedimentation and anchoring. Jacinda has said she will look into the feasibility of a local bill that could pave way for marine guardians to be set up in Marlborough.
Are marine guardians needed urgently? Do you think Jacinda will follow through with her support of this student group?
