A heavy snow warning has been issued for people in south Marlborough.
MetService has said snow will fall as low as 200 metres from Wednesday morning until Wednesday afternoon south of Ward and on the Kaikōura ranges, causing problems for travelers, trees, powerlines and livestock.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
