Northland Transportation Alliance staff are now preparing a programme to update signage and carry out required engineering works to support new speed limits and ensure that they are enforceable. Once the physical works programme has been prepared, WDC will make the required changes to the Speed Limits Bylaw with an operative date that coincides with the completion of required physical works.
Changes to the speed limits will be well advertised prior to implementation.
