What's your experience with pre-fabricated homes?
The Sunday Star-Times is looking into the rise of transportable/ kit-set/ pre fabricated homes. The upsides are build-efficiency, quality of design, and cost. The downsides appear to be land supply, red-tape with council and difficulty getting lending from banks. Stollen Rooftop camper
Our lovely Dutch guests had a rooftop camper stolen off the top of their vehicle last night (Friday).
The car was parked on the corner of South Eyre/Browns Road with a for sale sign on. The awful person/people must have had tools available to unscrew and it was heavy.
