Hunger plan hatched to end stray cat's amorous antics
A feral feline missing an ear has not let his injuries hold him back from impregnating other cats in a North Canterbury town.
The black and white short-haired cat, locally known as Scruffy, appears to be in pain since a fight in September. He is missing his right ear, has a swollen face, cannot hold his head up properly and has difficulty walking in a straight line.
In an effort to flush him out, a local cat rescue service is urging residents in Ashgrove area of northwest Rangiora not to feed him.
