Toxic algae warning for Waikanae
A reminder that toxic algae has been detected in the Waikanae River at Jim Cooke Park. Keep your pooch on a leash and out of the water if you're walking in the area. If you're planning on swimming in any of the rivers in our district, make sure you check for toxic algae before jumping in. If you see it, find another swimming spot
