Greater Wellington is humbled by the response from the community for the 2020 annual Waikanae River walk that was scheduled to take place on Wednesday 7 October 2020.

Due to ongoing restrictions and uncertainty arising from COVID-19, our annual public river walkover for the Waikanae River has unfortunately been cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We hope to see you next year. Stay safe.
