We are looking to rent out our family home in waikanae beach for approx 6 months whilst we travel. It is 3 bed, 2 bathroom modern, elevated for all day sun and has stunning views over Kapiti island.

Black Swan stranded on Raumati Beach, by Berts Way. Appears to be able to waddle and swim but can't seem to fly away - even when dogs circle around it barking. Could be one of the young swans from the Wharemauku Stream that grew up near Weka Park end. Can anyone help?
