For a NZ Feature Film

Shannon from Akatarawa

Do you have any 1960s and 1970s nick-nacks/clothes etc, you'd like to rehome? We would love to help! We are making a small low budget film made in the Wairarapa based in 1978. So if you have any clothing (child or adult), homeware, or anything from a school or community setting from this era; and would like to see it in a movie, please get in touch... we are happy to arrange pick up etc, after lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
