The Remutaka Hill Rd to close over five nights
The SH2 Remutaka Hill Rd will be closed for maintenance between 9pm and 4am from Sunday May 16 to Friday May 28.
Motorists faced a three and a half hour detour via the Pahiatua Track to travel between Featherston and Upper Hutt during the closures.
The route will also be subject to stop/go traffic management in days between 4am to 9pm from May 15 to June 4.
