We are moving into the fourteenth week of the 24 week project to renew the wastewater pipe in Gibbons Street, Upper Hutt. The new wastewater pipe will provide a higher level of resilience for seismic events and accommodate future growth in the area.

On 4 June 2019, the main traffic to SH2 will be detoured at McParland Street to Pine Avenue and Riverbank Street to get onto Gibbons Street (green arrow). The main traffic exiting SH2 will be detoured around the roundabout to Riverbank Street to Pine Avenue and McParland Street to get back onto Gibbons Street (red arrow).

In doing our work, the bus stops will be relocated to the north side of Bonnie Glen Crescent. This means that the bus stops outside No. 87 and 84 Gibbons Street will be temporarily relocated north of Bonnie Glen Crescent and buses diverted via the Crescent (purple arrow).

Residents on Gibbons Street, Hall Grove and Bonnie Glen Crescent will continue to have access to their properties; although access may be restricted when the worksite is directly in front of properties. We will be in touch with those property owners well before this happens.

On-street parking in the area alongside the worksite will be restricted and we ask you to please not park your vehicle within the coned areas. This will help us to get our work done as quickly as possible. The worksite will extend between either end of Bonnie Glen Crescent, but will not affect traffic entering from either end of the Crescent.

Learn more about this project on our website.

Did you know Queen's Birthday Weekend is one of the busiest times to be on our roads? 🚗

Last year alone, 427 serious injuries claims were made to ACC because of crashes and driving incidents over this long weekend.

Let's make sure we all arrive alive to where we need to go by following these four simple and proven road safety actions:

- Make sure everyone has their seatbelts on
- Remove distractions and stay focused on driving
- Don’t get behind the wheel if you’ve been drinking or are tired
- Drive at a safe speed for the conditions

With severe and changeable weather forecast for across the country the following winter driving tips are equally important as well.

The only way we can reduce unnecessary road deaths and injuries is by working together to be safe, considerate and alert on the roads. If you spot dangerous driving behaviour or urgent but not life threatening driving incidents you can report it to the New Zealand Police by calling *555 for free from any mobile device.

Have a great long weekend!

It primarily failed on rust on the body mounts, plus an exhaust leak. It failed on 21/05 so there's until 18/06 to submit it for a recheck without another full inspection. Other than that it's basically driveable, just not legally at present!

It's a 5sp manual 200Tdi (2500cc turbo diesel) and is economic to run at around 8.5-9 litres/100km. It's AWD (so all 4 wheels have drive all the time) with a centre diff-lock and H/L ratio. Quite a capable basic off-road vehicle. 3500kgs (braked) tow capacity and has both the standard 1&7/8" towball and the 50mm one.

It has done 275,122kms.
Licensed to 1 December.

Comes with original driver's manual, Haynes workshop manual and Landrover workshop manual on CD and a few other potentially useful bits and bobs including 4 spare alloy rims and possibly a set of wheel nuts.

Windscreen was replaced a couple of years ago.
Timing (cam) belt was changed at 262,000 kms by Gold Coast Mechanical.
New alternator about 3 years ago.

As-is, where-is.

Any reasonable offer considered.

Contact me by PM if interested.
