ANZAC activities at the Museum

We're commemorating ANZAC with some FREE family-friendly activities and crafts for the whole of April -  just in time for the school holidays! 

We'll provide all the materials to make your own 3D wreath and poppy printouts for you to colour and have made into your very own ANZAC badge! Learn about what red and purple poppies symbolize.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

Hospital ED new location of interest in measles spread
