COVID 19 VACCINATION

Brian from Dinsdale

The population in the Waikato is approximately 435174 to meet the target of 90% vaccinated that about 391657 people.

Currently those vaccinated are 305128 with the first dose and 246417 second dose. based upon the average doses each day 1225 first doses given and 1080 second doses given we need to; get vaccinated ASAP based upon the above figures it will take about 88 days or about 22 January 2022 to reach 90% of the first dose and about 110 days to reach the 90% for the second dose or being on target approximately 13 February 2022.

If you haven't received your first dose yet do it NOW.
If you haven't received your second dose yet and its been at least three weeks do it NOW ALSO.

This virus is gaining a hold in the Waikato lets join together trust the facts and get the VAX - get vaccinated NOW.

Waikato population is about 8.5% of the total NZ population but we are falling behind with only about 8.25% being vaccinated each day result the more we increase the rate the quicker we have a safer community and less pressure on health care services.

WE CAN ALL PLAY A PART BY LIFTING THESE DAILY AVERAGE NUMBERS HIGHER AND SAVING OUR COMMUNITY AND POTENTIAL LIVES, INCLUDING LESS CHANCE OF MORE PRESSURE ON OUR NURSES AND HOSPITAL THEY NEED OUR HELP.
LETS START NOW.

Well said a reminder not one person has lost their freedom, we have freedom in this country because of those that paid the heavy price with their life and those that fought alongside them. Remember it was won by following their leaders in order to win victory. The Jews were persecuted and suffered 6 million deaths at the hands of Hitler Combined nations stood together and put an end to those deaths. We need to stand united against this pandemic and I encourage you that are not vaccinated get vaccinated NOW. Those against vaccination are following the tactics used by Hitler to divide our nation, united we stand divided we fall. Democracy we have is freedom to engage and enjoy.

Have you heard about this Hamilton petition?

The Team Reporter from Hamilton Press

A group of Hamilton business owners have started a petition to stop the council from hiking up rates and passing the cost of what they say are unpopular projects on to residents.

It frustrates longtime residents Tom Andrews, a former roading engineer who owns Classics Museum and has property interests and Jo Reeder, to see Hamiltonians facing large bills.
