PSA: Kaikohe must save water now!
Emergency planning has started in Kaikohe, which could run out of water soon if dry weather continues. If that happens, residents would have to queue to collect their water from emergency tankers. Kaitaia and Dargaville also have strong water restrictions in place, and everyone is being asked to save water.
